The brand-new BOOK FORT area at Pitchfork Music festival sees the iconic and wildly popular outdoor festival incorporating yet another area of independent media into its scope, the one that brought it to prominence in the first place—quality writing. The BOOK FORT, curated by Zach Dodson and Mairead Case, consists of a Book Fair held all throughout the festival, as well as three dynamic, on-site spotlight readings, highlighting participating presses and music writers.
The BOOK FORT is also excited to present three intimate showcase readings centered around poetry, literature, and music journalism. Line-ups will be announced shortly, and can also be found in the BOOK FORT’s companion publication, available for free at the Pitchfork Music Festival.
