I'm pumped about this one. You show up, you drink some wine (they have a deal where you get "flights" of wine to try out, and it's all sponsored by various wineries). At various points in the night, the lights go down, a spotlight comes up, and someone will tell you a story. On these two nights, I will be one of those people. On Wednesday, the inimitable Megan Stielstra (whom you love even if you don't know it yet) and I will do a collaborative, multimedia story about technology. But what I'm really nervous/excited about is the Thursday gig, where I'll be telling a story about the time a dude wanted to kill me and the FBI got involved. An actress is going to impersonate my mother. Clearly, I have some things to work out.
