Storigami

Have we hatched another bird-brained scheme? Why yes, yes we have. That's exactly what this is. In the spirit of featherproof experimentation, we've decided to try a new sort of mini-book - the origami sort. These take quite a bit longer to construct, and a little more effort on the part of the reader, but hey, what else are you doing these days?

Stories, in origami form = Storigami. We shouldn't have to spell it out like that.

Astro Mike and the Bird Ghosts [new]
by Kathryn Regina

Fucking Pig [new]
by Adam Robinson

The Fox [new]
by Zach Dodson

The Squid [new]
by Daniela Olszewska

We asked some of our favorite lyrical writers to be in the guinea pig round, and they responded with amazing contributions to the form. We've got Adam Robinson, Publishing Genius; Kathryn Regina, video poet extraordinaire; Daniela Olszewska, author of such chaps as The Partial Autobiography of Jane Doe and The Twelve Husbands of Citizen Jane; and the lame hand of Zach Dodson, featherproof bookkeeper. We'll probably make more soon, but no promises, because, whew, these ain't so easy to cook up. These ones were designed by Zach Dodson and Brad Nagle.

When you're done, your Storigami might look like this photo. Or it might look like a crumbled ball of ink-smeared paper. Please remember Zen and patience and the fact that they are free.

OK, bye!
